We’re now looking to grow our Beamforming controller team with a creative and driven developer who is passionate about developing high performance embedded software. If you’re excited by innovation and eager to make a global impact, we’d love to hear from you.
What you will do
• Develop and test software, implement new functionalities on Ericsson’s powerful 5G baseband processing platform
• Work in both a manual and highly automated development environment to trouble-shoot and integrate complex new algorithms and software modules
• Apply knowledge of real-time software development and wireless communication protocols (e.g. 5G, LTE, WCDMA, WiFi)
• Participate in peer reviews, code inspections and design activities in accordance with internal standards
• Develop and implement test coverage to ensure existing functionality is never degraded by new software
What you will bring
• Minimum B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or similar
• 2 to 5 years of experience working in a similar industry
• Solid programming skills – preferably in C/C++
• Experience in developing software for real time embedded systems, preferably systems with higher degree of concurrency
• Basic understanding of wireless communication theory (modulation methods, channel coding, radio propagation, MIMO, etc.)
• Experience with software configuration and delivery tools such as GIT, Gerrit and Jenkins
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
